She grew up seeing the craft practised within her community, surrounded by people whose hands carried knowledge passed down through generations. What once felt like a natural part of everyday life gradually became something she understood to be deeply valuable.
Today, as part of a family of 3, Sumitra works with Allo not only to build a livelihood for her own family but also to help traditional skills continue creating opportunities for others.
