Everything we need is already in nature

Our role is not to replace it, but to shape it carefully and respectfully.

Nature already made it perfect.

The world’s most beautiful things are not made in factories. They are grown slowly, shaped by weather, touched by tradition, and finished by hand.

High in the Himalayas, wild nettle grows freely, shaped only by rain, soil, and sunlight. For generations, artisans have handwoven this rare fibre into fabric. Loomaama exists to bring this story closer to the world.

When you wear Loomaama, you wear something real. A fabric with roots. A craft with meaning. A piece that gives back to both people and the planet.

Each thread carries a story.

Natural Fabric Texture

We Believe Luxury Should Be Quiet.

It should be felt, not announced.

Loomaama exists beyond trends. We design with time, creating garments that settle, soften, and live alongside you. This isn’t just clothing; it’s a piece of the mountain and a promise of a more beautiful world.

Truth in every thread.

Our Principles

MATERIAL TRUTH

Allo is not a common textile. It has a depth, weight, and natural irregularity that gives every Loomaama piece its own quiet identity.
We choose it for the way it behaves against the body, structured yet breathable, raw yet elegant. It does not need to be disguised or over-finished.
For Loomaama, luxury begins with a material that has nothing to prove.

CRAFT INTEGRITY

Craft integrity means honoring the process, not just the finished piece.
Every Loomaama garment is shaped by hands that know the fibre, the loom, and the patience true making requires. Passed through families and refined over years, this craft carries warmth no machine can copy.
We celebrate the small variations, quiet details, and human touch that make each piece feel alive.

ECONOMIC RESPECT

When you wear Loomaama, you become part of something deeply human. Your choice supports artisans in the Himalayas through fair partnership, lasting opportunity, and meaningful recognition for their work.
Not charity. Not exploitation. Just honest value returned to the people whose hands created it.

Every Piece Carries a Life

When a Loomaama piece finds its way to you, its story continues.

A weaver in the Himalayas is paid fairly for days of skilled handwork. A tradition passed from one generation to the next is given a reason to keep living.

It is not empty consumption. It is a connection between people who may never meet, yet still choose to care for one another through honest craft and conscious choices.

This is not simply buying clothing.
This is keeping human craftsmanship alive.

How Loomaama Began

What you hold was lived before it reached you.
Artisan weaving

Loomaama started with a deep respect for human craftsmanship and the natural fibres that have returned to the earth unused for centuries, waiting for a more meaningful purpose.

High in the mountains of Nepal, wild Himalayan nettle grows freely in forests and hillsides. For generations, local artisans have carefully turned this remarkable fibre into fabric using knowledge passed from one family to the next. When we discovered this craft, we knew its story deserved to travel beyond the mountains it came from.

What began with a small group of artisans and a single natural fibre has been growing into a community built on craftsmanship, care, and connection. Today, Loomaama works alongside artisans across Nepal to create various handmade garments from nettle.

Every piece is touched by real human hands, carrying the warmth, patience, and spirit of the people who made it.

This is clothing made slowly, honestly, and with heart.

Founder Portrait

A Note from the Founder

“My journey began on a quiet trek through the Himalayas. Along those winding trails, I met local artisans who have worked with natural fibres for generations. In their hands, I saw patience. In their craft, pride. And in their work, a deep reverence for the earth.

Witnessing fashion produced without regard for the people who make it or the land that provides its fibres made it impossible for me to look away. Loomaama was born out of respect for the earth and for these skilled hands. We create slowly and intentionally. Each piece is designed to endure, and to carry a story you can cherish.”
